Trained in theatre design, drawing has always been particularly important to me. I find it most satisfying to create the illusion of three dimensional detail and texture through the use of pencil line; inks best suit my illustrative style for precision and control of colour. Commissions have led to my use of wildlife studies in the service of literary allusion.
